The RM of Barrier Valley No. 397 is accepting applications for a fulltime position of a Grader Operator. Duties will include but not limited to: grading and maintenance of municipal roads, snow removal, service and maintenance of equipment, installation of culverts and signs, ability to manage and organize daily duties throughout the year. Other duties as required.
Applicants must be reliable, capable of working alone or as part of a team, willing to complete safety training as per OH&S regulations, have good record keeping and time management skills and willingness to follow directions, mechanically inclined to perform routine maintenance and repairs to equipment. Applicants must possess a valid class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract. Experience operating a grader in a municipal environment will be an asset.
Qualifications
Grader experience is a MUST, knowledge of equipment and of maintenance, Power Mobile Equipment Ticket, 3 work place references included on your resume.
