Were looking for a Privacy & Access Consultant to join our team!

Communicate clearly, thoughtfully, and with purpose, both in writing and verbally. These strong communication skills enable effective interaction with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, SGI employees, and government officials.
Demonstrate the ability to translate complex privacy laws, legislation, and policy concepts into plain language, ensuring clarity and understanding for both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Apply critical thinking and sound judgment by respectfully challenging established practices and precedents, assessing whether historical approaches continue to meet current needs and organizational objectives.
Bring experience interpreting and applying legislation, with the ability to analyze statutory requirements and translate them into practical, operational guidance.
Want to leverage your leadership skills for good  like actively supporting SGIs culture, expanding your own learning and supporting your colleagues as they do the same.



Typically, these skills are gained through a Certificate in Information Access and Protection of Privacy (IAPP) or other industry recognized privacy and access certificate and three years experience in processing access to information requests.  We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way, so please don't hesitate to apply.
