Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Haul gravel
- Stockpile gravel
- Spreading of gravel
- Road maintenance
- Repairs and upkeep of all machinery
- Grading
- Snow removal
- Assisting with manual labor
- Bridge & sign maintenance
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Excellent communication with other employees & council
- Complete all other tasks as assigned


Qualifications:

- Applicants must possess a Valid Drivers Licence and Class 1A Licence
- Mechanical skills are an asset
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Geographical knowledge of the RM is an asset

Job Description:

The Gravel / Grader Operator would be responsible for operating and maintaining gravel trucks, graders and other equipment used in the maintenance and repairing of municipal roads.  Preference will be given to those who have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment and are mechanically inclined. Currently this is a temporary full-time position with the potential for full-time.
