The City of Regina is seeking Casual Labourers for a short term summer pilot project installing locks on residential waste carts. This hands on role is based out of the Waste Management Centre (Fleet Street Landfill) and focuses primarily on physical installation work using basic hand and power tools. This is a project specific opportunity, with little to no casual shifts available once the project is complete.
What You Bring
- Comfortable performing physical, hands on work outdoors
- Ability to lift, carry, and position materials up to 50 lbs
- Experience with manual labour or basic hand and power tools is an asset
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
- Good verbal communication skills
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Grade 12 or equivalent is an asset
