Pine Lodge Addiction Recovery Inc. (Pine Lodge) is recruiting new members to its board of directors.

Pine Lodge is located in Regina, SK and operates a 38-space inpatient addiction treatment facility as well as offering 25 spaces for post treatment services. Pine Lodge has a forty year successful history in addiction treatment. The Pine Lodge website atpinelodgerecovery.cadescribes the organization and contains the Model Standard of Care for the newly revised evidence-based treatment program.

Pine Lodge board members hold volunteer positions and provide governance for up to a 3-year term with a maximum of 3 terms (maximum of 9 consecutive years). Regular board meetings are held upto 6 times per yearwith special planning meetings called as required.Board
members are also required to sit on a board committee which meet up to 6 times per year.

We are committed to building a respectful and inclusive board that reflects the diversity of the community we serve.The Board is actively recruiting persons Demonstratingcompetencyin one or more of the following: board governance;Indigenous culture; health care related to mental health and addictions; addiction programming; accounting and finance; government/community relations; legal; and fund-raising.

Lived experience with addiction is not a prerequisite.

Expressions of interest should include a brief resume summarizing education,work experience, and governance experience in a not-for-profit environment along with three (3) references. In a cover letter we would like to better understand the applicants competencies and the reason for wanting to join the Pine Lodge board and the value they would bring to the Board.

Preference will be given to individuals who are deeply rooted in Indigenous culture and are willing to serve as a guide to the board on Indigenous issues, providing insight and leadership through an Indigenous lens.
