Description

We are currently seeking a reliable, compassionate, and organized individual to join our dermatology team in a part-time support role within our medical office. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, is comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment, and is willing to grow with our team as the role evolves.

-Position Overview
The successful candidate will assist with patient care during light therapy treatments and administrative duties within our dermatology clinic. This role will begin at approximately 4-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with the potential for increased hours as clinical needs grow. While there is currently no set timeline for a full-time transition, we do anticipate this position developing into a full-time opportunity in the future.

Hours may be adjusted as needed to provide coverage within the clinic, including medical office assistant role during vacation or absences.

Responsibilities
-Assisting with patient preparation and set-up for light therapy treatments
-Booking and confirming patient appointments
-Calling patients regarding scheduling and follow-up needs
-Filing and maintaining patient records
-Assisting with call backs and general administrative support
-Supporting day-to-day clinic operations
-Providing coverage for the Medical Office Assistant role during vacations or absences as needed

Qualifications
-Comfortable working directly with patients in a clinical setting
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Ability to multi-task and adapt in a busy medical environment
-Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
-Previous medical office or healthcare experience is considered an asset, but not required
-Must be comfortable learning new systems and workflows
