Description

Compassionate and youth-focused support professional experience in working with youth ages 12-25 facing complex barriers including mental health challenges, substance use, homelessness, and poverty. Skilled in advocacy, case management, crisis support, and system navigation within medical, legal, justice, and social service environments. Experienced providing one-on-one support, accompanying clients to appointments and legal proceedings, and connecting individuals to essential community resources. Strong ability to build trusting relationships while delivering trauma-informed, culturally respectful, and client-centered care. Proficient in documentation, data management, collaboration with community partners, and navigating administrative systems and software.

Education
Post-secondary education in Mental Health & Wellness, Justice Studies, Social Work, or related field
Working with youth involved in the justice system or facing systemic barriers
Experience
Data management and records organization
Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic communications in a complex organization.
Experience in integrated communications and engagement, brand management, and digital marketing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong case management and client coordination skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and office software systems
Navigating databases, digital filing systems, and administrative software Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Able to manage confidential information accurately and efficiently
Strong communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to provide integrated support
Strong case management and data management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent crisis intervention skills & trauma informed care
