LSS is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to fill a 12-18 month term position within our Finance team. If you thrive on accuracy and adherence to detail, this is the role for you! Responsibilities:
Verify invoices, expense claims for proper coding and compliance, and resolve payment discrepancies
Maintain subsidiary and general legers by verifying and posting account transactions
Journal vouchers and Accounts payable and receivable adjustments
Prepare and process EFT payments and cheques
Reconcile bank statements and credit card payments
Analyze and reconcile discrepancies in licenses and brands issued against revenue received, and provide statistical reporting on revenue
Oversee deferred brand and license revenue accounts
Generate and reconcile the inspection headcount report
Analysis and report preparation for budgets and audits
Process Clearly payments
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role where youve demonstrated a thorough understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Education in accounting we will consider formal (degree or diploma) and informal, practical on-the-job as both bring value to this position
Level of experience that makes you comfortable with Microsoft and computerized accounting software Sage 300 knowledge would be a bonus
