Kisikohk School is seeking a dedicated, caring, and culturally responsive Grade 1 Teacher for the 20262027 school year. We are looking for an educator who values student relationships, land-based learning, academic growth, and the integration of Nhiyaw language and culture into everyday learning.
Kisikohk School serves students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 in a supportive learning environment grounded in community, respect, and holistic education
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
    Deliver engaging Grade 1 instruction aligned with Saskatchewan curriculum
    Support student learning through differentiated instruction and assessment
    Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
    Incorporate Indigenous perspectives and cultural teachings into programming
    Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians
    Participate in staff meetings, school events, professional development, and school initiatives
    Support student attendance, wellbeing, and positive behaviour development
