Key Responsibilities:
Active Child Engagement: Be consistently present and engaged with children through play, conversation, and learning activities.
Curriculum Implementation: Follow the curriculum and daily schedule set by the Pedagogical Leader, ensuring activities are intentional and developmentally appropriate.
Group Guidance & Routine Support: Keep children on schedule and support small groups in staying engaged, focused, and participating in planned routines and activities throughout the day.
Observation & Support: Observe childrens development and adjust interactions and activities to meet their needs.
Classroom Environment: Maintain a structured, safe, and organized space that supports group routines and expectations.
Family Communication: Build strong relationships with families and communicate regularly about their child'ss experiences and development.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure consistency in routines, expectations, and programming across all classrooms.
Health & Safety: Follow all policies to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Qualifications:
ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 (or equivalent education)
Minimum 2 years full time childcare experience, preferably with toddlers
CPR C/AED, Food Safety, WHMIS
Strong understanding of child development and structured, play-based learning
