Description

Qualifications:
Maintain professional boundaries in and out of the workplace.
Experience working with teenage youth.
Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture.
Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License.
Must pass Criminal Record Vulnerable Sector Check.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
Excellent communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently as well as a team.
Excellent time management skills.
Caring and compassionate attitude.

Duties:
Support youth in exploring career goals while identifying and addressing barriers to employment.
Be available to respond to client needs and requests where reasonable, in a friendly and courteous manner.
Maintain a safe home environment.
Prep and cook for 10 or more youth.
Maintain an accurate daily log.
Plan fun and educational activities for teenage youth.
Support and guide the clients, teaching them responsibility as they transition into adulthood/independence.
Ensure nightly cleaning duties are complete.
Ensure major house cleaning duties are complete as well as normal everyday cleaning/chores.
Attend staff meetings.
Provide support and advocacy to the residents and clients of the YWCA.
Provide feedback to Manager regarding clients.
Provide feedback to the Manager on major issues and incident reports.
Attend to crises as they arise during non-office hours. Contact the Supervisor/Manager in the event of a major crisis.
Prioritize work, attending to the most urgent needs of the clientele first.
Maintain confidentiality.
Any other duties as requested;
