Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Technical Sales, the incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to generate sales in an effective way according to the business development objectives. Following the successful completion of onboarding and training, this position will be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement of up to three remote workdays per week, based on operational requirements and performance expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare proposals, contracts, and tenders
Manage and develop existing and new client relationships
Contribute to achieve business development sales targets
Attend seminars and conferences
Enter and maintain client data and opportunities into the organizations CRM system
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in a related field such as agriculture, engineering, business/project management, or a similar discipline
Professional with experience working in agriculture
Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, MS Project or other project management systems would be considered an asset
Driven, confident, and personable
Excellent organizational and presentation skills
Ability to travel
Experience in mining and/or transportation industry is considered an asset
