Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Tutor, for our Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professionals program, in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. This is a part-time, term position, from September 8, 2026 to May 7, 2027 (661 hour contract).
The Opportunity:
Under the direction and guidance of the Coordinator, Post-Secondary Education, this position is primarily responsible for providing tutorial or instructional assistance to students to achieve their learning goals as they relate to the Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professionals program. The instructor aide will act as a support for the Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professionals Diploma students in Fort Qu'Appelle. This position will also be responsible for the provision of tutoring sessions to the For Qu'Appelle Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professionals Diploma cohort, and ensuring this cohort of students is successfully connected to lectures being delivered out of Nipawin.
Requirements:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a relevant one year post-secondary education. This education would typically provide knowledge of adult education methodology or program area.
- The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is one year in a similar role in a classroom environment and one year work experience in a business environment.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
- Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.
