In this role, you will:
-Solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and failures.
-Ensure that design work is prepared in accordance with Camecos processes, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
-Develop and refine asset-specific strategies to improve equipment health and prevent or eliminate equipment failure.
-Work regularly with trades personnel and their leadership to support short- and long-term maintenance activities.
-Provide technical support for new or modified site equipment, process changes, and drawings.
-Compile data and prepare technical reports or coordinate technical reporting as required for regulatory submission.
-Support site capital and expense projects, ensuring project deliverables are met in terms of scope, schedule, and budget.
Required:
-Bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering;
-seven to 12 years of relevant industry experience;
-equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
-eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS);
-strong communication and problem-solving skills; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
-familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies;
-experience in mining, mills, process plants, and underground environments;
-experience using computerized maintenance management systems, preferably SAP; and
-knowledge of rotating equipment, pressure vessels, atmospheric tanks, ASME B31.3 code, API tank code, welding standards, and CSA B51 code.
