Description

Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools invites applications for the position of School Counsellor with the Division.  This is a full-time continuing position with duties commencing August 26, 2026.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

    Support and promote the aims and objectives of Catholic Education and the goals of the Division.
    Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W) degree.
    Comprehensive knowledge of counselling strategies and skills for working with children and their families in the school setting.
    Excellent team building skills.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to work under occasional stress.
    Availability to work after hours during emergencies.
    Valid drivers license and ability to provide own transportation to travel to schools.
    Prior experience in school counselling is preferred.
