Melfort Family Physicians Group/ Melfort Medical Collective is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care in accordance with current clinical guidelines and best practices.
Review and update records in the EMR, including allergies, lab results, diagnostic tests and health profiles.
Support and coordinate medication coverage applications, such as EDS, special support programs, NIHB, pharmaceutical assistance, and other relevant sources.
Facilitate referrals to members of the Primary Health Care team, including diabetic nurse educators, chronic disease nurses, dietitians, mental health and addictions counsellors, lactation consultants, public health nurses, and exercise therapists.

Qualifications:

Current registration and good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Completion of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Demonstrated knowledge of primary care and chronic disease management (e.g., INR management, STI treatment) as per CRNS guidelines and employer-approved protocols.
Certified or eligible for RN Specialty Practices (e.g., INR Management, STI treatment) as per CRNS guidelines and employer-approved protocols.
