Description

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires a permanent full-time Director of Professional Student Support Services. The position will be located in Saskatoon or Kenaston.

Sask DLC is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation, created to deliver high-quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. Sask DLCs head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and regional campuses located in Estevan, Kenaston, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Meadow Lake, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton.

Summary

Reporting to the Superintendent of Student Supports, the Director of Professional Student Support Services provides operational leadership for multidisciplinary professional services within the Student Supports Department. The Director supervises and supports professional staff in disciplines including psychology, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and social work, while also leading the planning, coordination, and implementation of system-level initiatives within the Student Supports portfolio.
This role leads the ongoing review, refinement, implementation, and continuous improvement of service delivery models that support a continuum of student needs within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) and needs-based framework, building on existing structures and practices. The Director ensures that professional services are high-quality, consistent, and structured to respond effectively to student needs identified through student-centered processes.
Working collaboratively with Student Support Consultants and other members of the Student Supports team, the Director plays a key role in leading the planning, coordination, and implementation of system-level initiatives, including the ongoing strengthening of service delivery models, systems structures, and priority initiatives.
