The Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board (SPTRB) is searching for a part-time Administrative Clerk to provide customer service, document handling and administrative support to the SPTRB. The position is three days per week for a one-year term, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
The position has a variety of duties including:
- Responding to telephone calls and email inquiries.
- Processing requests for services related to teacher certification.
- Managing electronic and paper documents and filing systems.
- Data entry and document uploads into iMIS database.
- Various other administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will:
- Be detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have experience using databases.
- Be proficient using Microsoft 365 (especially Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Have a Certificate in Office Administration from a recognized educational institution OR at least two years of experience with customer service and administration in an office environment.
Experience in Saskatchewan's K-12 education system and/or fluency in French is preferred but not required.
