Our candidate must have a minimum of 3-4 years experience plumbing, HVAC/Furnace/AC experience is a HUGE asset. You'll need to be a team player as well as capable of carrying out independent work & decision making. You've got to be willing to learn, grow and adapt. We do a large variety of repairs, installations and maintenance of plumbing. We'll also be installing furnaces and air conditioners. The candidate must be capable  of ensuring all work is completed to code and meets safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and install plumbing systems according to code
Build and maintain plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
Read blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems.
Troubleshoot and repair leaks.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Plumber and/or an HVAC Technician.
Clean criminal record
You must take initiative, be motivated and driven.
Must have a driver's license, clean driver's abstract and your own vehicle.
Knowledge and understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively is an asset.
Must supply your own hand tools, and be proficient with power tools.
Must be mechanically inclined
You will be required to wear steel toed shoes or boots.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills
Effective time management skills
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting heavy materials, sometimes repeatedly.
Must be well organized
