Description

Living Sky School Division is seeking a dynamic and student-centered High School English/Social Sciences Teacher for the 20262027 school year. The successful candidate will teach high school English Language Arts and Social Sciences courses while creating engaging, responsive, and meaningful learning experiences that support student success and well-being.

This position offers the opportunity to work within Cando Community Schools alternative calendar, which includes approximately 14 additional Fridays off throughout the school year, supporting work-life balance and innovative school programming.

Cando Community School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school located in the Hamlet of Cando and serves students from Red Pheasant Cree Nation, Mosquito Grizzly Bear's Head Lean Man First Nation, and surrounding communities.

Is skilled in differentiating instruction to support diverse learning needs
Advocates for student voice and well-being in learning and school life
Values organization, flexibility, and collaboration as part of a school team

Qualifications
Valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification)
Background and/or experience teaching High School English Language Arts and/or Social Sciences is considered an asset
