POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Wellness Coordinator promotes overall health and wellness by planning, preparing, and implementing wellness-focused activities for children and their families. Working alongside educators within the Child Development Centre, this role supports childrens physical, social, and emotional well-being through engaging activities, inclusive play, and positive daily interactions. The Wellness Coordinator assists with daily childcare operations of the Centre by helping supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, supporting meal times, and reinforcing safe practices and healthy habits within the program.

HOURS OF WORK:  
Full-time Summer Term Position, working 30 hours per week

LOCATION:
Child Development Centre  Downtown Wall St. Location.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and implement daily physical activity programs that support gross motor development and active play
Encourage outdoor play and movement-based learning experiences
Support childrens emotional well-being and social development
Develop and lead wellness initiatives, including movement, mindfulness, and healthy routines
