Description

The Human resources Generalist serves as part of SAIs Management Team and performs a range of duties regarding SAIs HR needs, including:
Safeguards the culture of the organization through careful consideration and oversight of SAIs recruitment and onboarding processes, including:
    Oversee employee on-boarding and off-boarding, including employee recruitment, providing mentorship and guidance to the Leadership Team in these processes, preparing offer letters, carrying out disciplinary processes, and completing required documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
    Organize and attend recruitment events.
    Manage social media platforms.
    Educate employees on policies regarding job duties, working conditions, safety, wages, career advancement opportunities, employee benefits, etc.
    Administer employee transfers, employee discipline and terminations.
    Perform exit interviews and provide subsequent analysis and recommendations based on data.

    Maintain HR files and training database.
    Maintain regular contact with new employees throughout the first six months to ensure a positive SAI experience.
Support and advise the Management and Leadership Team in the general practices of human resources, and employee relations and culture building, including:
    Attend Leadership and Management meetings as planned.
    Promote and educate employees around benefits, EFAP, employee engagement etc.
    Provide reports to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors as requested.
    Manage external employee partnerships  SINP, WCB etc.
    Assist in the revision of policies and procedures and related documents as requested.
    Other duties and projects as needed.
