Description

The Consumer Advisor role manages and grows a portfolio of members in alignment with the organizations segmentation and sales strategy with loans, deposits and applicable wealth services. By offering responsive and advisory services to members and nonmembers, the Consumer Advisor works to understand and anticipate member needs. This means understanding who their members are, what products and services they currently have, and what products and services they are likely to need in the future.

Qualifications:

Have completed some post-secondary education plus 3-5 years job related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Completion of the following CUIC courses would be considered an asset: Credit Union System, Introduction to Financial Planning, Consumer and Residential Mortgage Lending Course.
Proven business development, sales, and service skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to relate well to members and coworkers.
Commitment to grow Innovation Federal Credit Union business attained through demonstrated use of sales and service principles.
Detail-oriented and risk aware, contributing to the safeguarding of our companys assets and reputation.
Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving and navigation using digital solutions.
Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, Power BI).
