Rods Hotrods Customs & Sales Inc. is a fast-paced and unique business that sells classic and special interest vehicles, golf carts and vintage memorabilia. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and self-motivated individual to join our team in the role of Automotive Technician.

Key Responsibilities

-Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles without the aid of vehicle diagnostic tools/software
-Perform regular maintenance services such as fluid changes, bulb replacements, and tire swaps
-Complete thorough vehicle inspections using two and four post lifts
-Ability to work independently, and also closely with a team of technicians to troubleshoot and come up with solutions on complicated repairs
-Diagnose and repair electrical issues

Qualifications

-General knowledge and experience with carburetors
-Experience working in an automotive shop or garage
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong organizational and time-management skills, as we are a fast-paced workplace and often required to switch gears on the fly
-Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of classic/special interest vehicles
-Experience using AutoLeap or other shop management software would be an asset
