Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Casual Clerk/Cashier at our Food Store location in Choiceland, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves.
- Maintain a clean, well-kept department by promptly cleaning spills and breakage, tidying shelves, bins, and displays as needed, and keeping aisles clear of debris.
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, and lottery.
- Operate point of sale system and other electronic devices to process sales.
- Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in first out (FIFO).
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Who You Are:
- You are 19 years of age or older, strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements - standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
