Description

The Ministry of Immigration and Career Training offers a dynamic, innovative environment focused on supporting Saskatchewans economic growth through workforce development, immigration, and strong partnerships. The Immigration Services Branch seeks a Manager, Recruitment Services Unit to lead strategic recruitment initiatives, connect employers with skilled talent, and deliver programs aligned with labour market priorities. This leadership role supports collaboration with industry, government, and external partners while advancing labour mobility and workforce attraction efforts.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-oriented leader who excels in building relationships, guiding teams, and delivering client-focused services in a fast-paced environment. They demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to service excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to engage diverse stakeholders and manage complex or sensitive situations effectively.

This role requires knowledge of Saskatchewan labour market trends, workforce challenges, and federal and provincial immigration programs, policies, and processes. The successful candidate brings strong analytical abilities to interpret data, assess trends, and inform program or operational decisions. Proven leadership, project management, and organizational skills are critical, along with the ability to consistently apply policy, manage competing priorities, and support a high-performing team culture.

Typically, this knowledge is gained through a graduate degree in business, economics, or social sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
