Key Responsibilities:
Operate Class A1 commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, lowboys, flat decks, tankers as required)
Transport materials, equipment, fuel, and supplies to and from mine sites and staging areas
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in accordance with Saskatchewan regulations
Complete and maintain accurate logbooks, inspection reports, and shipping documentation
Ensure proper load securement in compliance with NSC standards
Follow all mine site safety policies, procedures, and environmental protocols
Maintain communication with dispatch and site supervisors
Assist with loading and unloading when required
Perform minor troubleshooting and report mechanical issues promptly
Comply with fatigue management and hours-of-service regulations
Participate in safety meetings and training
Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck, tools, and work areas
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
Report incidents, damages, or hazards immediately to your supervisor and Safety Manager
Qualifications:
Clean class 1 Drivers License
Minimum 5 years commercial driving experience is required
Experience operating in remote, winter, and northern road conditions
SCOT, WHMIS, TDG and Fire Safety & Extinguisher Certifications
Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
Rotational schedule 7/7 and as required
