Description

Riverbend Coop is a dynamic retail cooperative serving 13 communities across Central Saskatchewan. Ranked among the provinces top 100 companies, we proudly support communities including Beechy, Davidson, Kenaston, Hanley, Outlook, and more.

We are currently recruiting a Casual Product Promoter for our Outlook Food Store. This role supports our in-store sampling and product demonstration program in partnership with Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) and plays a key role in enhancing the customer experience.

About the role:

Casual position with approximately 8 hours per week
Typically two 4-hour demo shifts weekly
Scheduled most weeks throughout the year

What youll do:

Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment
Prepare, sample, and demonstrate food products in-store
Engage customers, share product knowledge, and promote featured items
Create positive, memorable interactions that reflect the Coop brand
Follow food safety guidelines and sampling procedures
Complete required documentation (temperature logs, demo reports, etc.)
Support demos across rotating departments
Safely operate cooking and warming equipment

What you bring:

Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
Passion for customer service and engaging with people
Ability to work independently and follow procedures
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Availability to work evenings and weekends
