Join Our Team as a Clinical Consultant!
As a Clinical Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting participants by providing personalized, person-centered care. Youll manage a caseload, conduct functional behavior assessments, and design individualized support plans that empower participants to thrive. In this dynamic role, youll also lead engaging group sessions tailored to participants needs and offer expert clinical consultation to our multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Education and Professional Certification
* Masters degree in psychology, educational psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, nursing, or a related human services field.
* Professional designation required.
Experience
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, complex needs, or co-occurring mental health conditions.
* Experience in clinical leadership and supporting team development is an asset.
Skills and Characteristics
* Strong leadership abilities to inspire, mentor, and support others.
* Collaborative approach with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Subject matter expert in clinical and ethical issues relating to the care and support of vulnerable persons with complex needs, behavioural issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues.
* Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and service (CARE) planning.
* Ability to set and achieve clear, person-centered goals.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong, inclusive relationships.
* Knowledge of person-centered thinking and gentle teaching.
* Commitment to working within an ethical framework and familiarity with relevant legislation.
