Assembler/Service Technician Job Description
Maxfield is a progressive, experienced and leading manufacturer well known for its high-quality products. This includes design, engineering, fabrication, packaging and servicing a range of pressure vessels, pipe spooling, structural skids and cargo transports. Maxfield also services the truck and transport, natural resources (oil and natural gas, and mining), propane distribution and marketing, power generation and cryogenic industries across Canada.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledgeable with Electrical wiring installations, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
Complete documents pertaining to the inspection program
Willingness to learn new skills pipefitting and inspections related to pressure vessels, both transport and storage.
Field service work is required (experience with NH3 and LPG equipment an asset).
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license; Drivers abstract required
Forklift, Fall Protection and First Aid training considered an asset
Pressure pipefitting/plumbing experience considered an asset
Experience with NH3 and LPG equipment considered an asset
Mechanics tools
Experience:
Mechanical: 1 year (preferred)
