In this leadership role you will apply strong strategic, analytical, and people management competencies to guide the delivery of the Outcome-based Regulatory Compliance Project. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, align program direction with organizational and government priorities, and foster meaningful collaboration with internal units, clients, and external stakeholders. With a focus on continuous improvement, the role identifies opportunities to strengthen inspection and compliance programs across Drinking Water, Wastewater, Aquatic Habitat, and Water Rights Licensing.

The position requires sound judgment and leadership in overseeing program planning, advancing policy development, and ensuring effective engagement of team members in achieving project objectives.

The incumbent will apply critical thinking and communication skills to interpret and share strategic direction, research findings, and program progress, while leading all phases of the policy cycle to develop practical tools, procedures, and frameworks.

The candidate will have a Degree in Public Administration, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Resources Management, Regional Planning, or similar discipline and 10 years of progressively more responsible experience.
This role is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check.
