Description

The R.M. of Brock No. 64 currently has an opening for a GRADER OPERATOR.  This position is full-time, year-round and requires the successful candidate to operate a grader in a safe, efficient and appropriate manner.
Responsibilities:
-Perform grading and road maintenance duties as assigned by the Foreman
-Daily servicing of equipment: checking oils, fluids, greasing, etc.
-Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings
-Some heavy lifting required

Qualifications and Experience:
-Valid driverss license and clean driving record
-Have completed, or willing to complete, the following courses:  First-Aid, Power Mobile Equipment (PME), WHMIS, TDG, and Ground Disturbance.
-Experience with operating a grader and other heavy equipment will be considered an asset, however, training will be provided.
-Able to work alone and as part of a team
-Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-Interact positively with the general public
