Job Description: The home visiting social worker provides direct client services including ongoing assessments, developmental screening of children, curriculum delivery, client goal setting and skill building, and coordination of and support of health and social services. The home visiting social worker acts as client advocate while encouraging self motivation and direction. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

- Advanced Problem solving skills
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to be flexible and willing to change

- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge in developing policies, procedures and standards
- Knowledge in the SHA, community resources and applicable programming
