Description

PINTER & Associates Ltd. is seeking a Junior Municipal Engineer to join our Saskatoon office. PINTER is an established Saskatchewan-based consulting engineering firm providing municipal, environmental, geotechnical, and waste management engineering services to public, industrial, government, and Indigenous clients across Western Canada.

The successful candidate will assist clients and project teams with practical, economical civil infrastructure solutions. Duties will include supporting concept plans, preliminary and detailed designs, site plans, infrastructure rehabilitation and retrofit projects, evaluation of alternatives, cost estimates, permit applications, design drawings, specifications, tender documents, quantity estimation, construction inspection, and contract administration.

Applicants should have a bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Current Engineer-in-Training registration in Canada, or the ability to obtain APEGS registration within one year, is required. Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience, strong technical aptitude, Microsoft Office skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Organization, attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are important. Exposure to water/wastewater, roads, land development, asset management, stormwater management, construction inspection, surveying, field assessments, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, GIS, and relevant standards will be considered an asset.
