Reporting to the Director, Conservation, the Resource Management Technician is responsible for implementing field-based conservation, management, monitoring support, and restoration activities across the Meewasin Valley jurisdiction. This position supports delivery of Site Resource Management Plans and Conservation Program priorities through practical, on-the-ground actions. The role involves disturbance-based
management, vegetation management, ecological restoration support, invasive species management, field data collection, and operational program support. The Technician works closely with Senior Coordinators, GIS Analysts, and seasonal staff to ensure conservation activities are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently. This position involves a combination of office-based and field-based responsibilities. This is a field-capable position requiring sustained outdoor work.
