The R.M. is seeking an Economic Development Manager to lead initiatives that support investment attraction, business retention and expansion, and stakeholder engagement. This newly created role will serve as the primary point of contact for businesses, developers, and regional partners while promoting the R.M. and guiding investment through development and regulatory processes.

What Youll Do:

Support economic development strategies through research, trend analysis, reporting, and presentations to leadership and Council.
Respond to business and investment inquiries and coordinate information across departments.
Build strong relationships with businesses, developers, government agencies, and community partners.
Assist with marketing, branding, promotional initiatives, and special projects.
Research funding opportunities and support grant initiatives aligned with municipal priorities.

What You Bring:

Degree in Economic Development, Business, Planning, Public Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in economic development, business development, municipal or land development, or a related field.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and project coordination skills.
Knowledge of municipal planning, land use, and development processes is considered an asset.

Salary: $97,863$116,854 annually, based on qualifications and experience
