Job Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team and under the general direction of the Out-of-Scope Manager or Addiction Counsellor Degree Senior, is responsible for the day-to-day client services delivery (development, implementation, deliver and assists with evaluation) of Addiction Services. Performs clinical management, community education, and community development. Job description is available upon request. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license

- Organizational skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to treat effects of substance use on an adolescent and family unit
- Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate referrals
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans
- Knowledge in Developmental Model of Recovery
- Strong knowledge of policies and procedures established by Addiction Services
- Ability to provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills
- Knowledge of chemical dependency/co-dependency and effect on the family unit.
