Description

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:
Separate and sort clean linen from laundry tubs according to type and size based on direction from the manager or Lead Hand.  
Bring down linen slinged up in dry/fold and sort according to type and size and based on direction by the manager or Supervisor.
Send to pack room for processing.    
Process New Linen to the small washer and Dryer
Assist with small piece folding or regular Inspect and Fold.
Clean Lint traps in dryer after every use
Place the discarded linen in the Loraas disposal bin
Grab the mixed linen from the KOR room and the Huck towel room every day
Process the rewash from the KOR room as well as the huck towel room every day
Do repellency testing on the repellency loads. Once that is done then sort those items out
Sort the rewash once it is back in the KOR room and distribute it to the tables as directed
Pull up both sticky mats every morning
Inspect bar coded items.    
Enter ABS System whether the item passes inspection or not and for what reason.
Send item back for stain treatment or mending if it does not pass inspection.
Fold and put item on flow rack if item do pass inspection (according to standard).
Perform any other task that the supervisor requires

2. Secondary Responsibility
Wears correct P.P.E. for work area (mandatory hairnet and KOR uniform).
Maintain and clean uniform according to KOR quality control standards.
Performs area safety check and area organization (trip hazards or unsafe or faulty equipment).
Reports unsafe work practices (i.e. dangerous work habits).
Responsible for performing work in a safe manner by following safety rules, regulations and emergency evacuation procedure.
