Description

The Rural Municipality of Garry #245 is accepting applications for the position of seasonal full-time Maintenance & Equipment Operator.  Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Operate municipal equipment such as tractors, mower, backhoe, grader and light machinery.
- Perform road, ditch and culvert maintenance.
- Install and maintain municipal signage.
- Perform shop and yard tasks which include cleaning, organizing and basic repairs.

Applicants must be reliable, capable of working independently and as part of a team, have good record keeping and time management skills and willingness to follow directions, physically fit and mechanically inclined to perform routine maintenance and repairs to equipment. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license and be willing to provide a criminal record check upon request.

A complete resume should include work experience, education, certifications held, training and skills and work references.  Applications will be accepted until June 3, 2026.

Wages and benefits are provided in accordance with the current union agreement.
