Crown Enterprises Ltd., a leader in diversified storage services, records management, document imaging and confidential destruction services, requires an IT specialist to develop and maintain the companys IT systems while providing courteous service.
The successful IT candidate will:
* provide technical support to users concerning hardware, software and networking problems and reporting to the GM
* set up and train users on the network and software
* install, troubleshoot and maintain computer network and mail server
* setup, install and test computers
* respond to, troubleshoot and resolve computer issues
* set-up, schedule and monitor back-ups and server issues
* set-up and configure scanning systems
* provide custom programming, other IT and administrative tasks
* design and update companys website as required
Qualifications:
* a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in an IT related field
* 3-5 years experience in an IT related field; a combination of education and experience will be considered
* knowledge of IT principles, concepts and methods
* experience supporting Microsoft products
* experience with MS Windows Server 2003 / 2008, Exchange Server 2010, SQL Server and phone systems.
* experience working with MS VB.net, VB6, C++, SQL, Active Directory, setting up users on the network, file security, security including WSUS, firewalls and anti-virus software
* experience with Microsoft CE and mobile computing devices
* experience with MS Dynamics accounting is an asset
