Duties: Working with a 22 year old woman who has limited mobility. Support her in various activities in the home and the community including but not limited to trips to movies,
shopping, attending community programs, pet stores and museums.
Must be able to assist with one person transfers to and from wheelchair.
Must have valid drivers licence to drive our wheelchair accessible van on outings.
Prefer University student with background in Kinesiology, Social Work, Education, Nursing. Will consider those with Home Care Aid Certificate. .
Hours will be Noon to 7:00 pm Tuesdays only.
7 hours a week @ $18.00 per hour.
Additional weekend hours may be available occasionally @
$250.00 per 24 hour period (1-3 day weekends) while parents go away on short trips.
Will provide paid training on a Saturday prior to starting.
Minimum 4 month commitment required.
