Description

North Battleford is a growing, well-connected city that offers affordable housing, competitive wages, great leisure activities, historical attractions, vibrant arts and culture and excellent educational and health services.  The City of approx 14,000 people is located on the Trans Canada Yellowhead Highway and serves as a hub to Northwest Saskatchewan.  

This Senior Administrative position is a key position in the Planning and Development Department which includes, engineering, planning, economic development & building/licencing services.   We are looking for a candidate who is a strong team player and will be dedicated to working in the department to strive to provide the best public service delivery approach possible.

The ideal candidate for this position will have graduated from a recognized university level course in Urban Planning and Development and will have a minimum of five (5) years experience in Planning & Development or related fields, deemed acceptable by the City; must be a member or eligible for membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Saskatchewan Professional Planners Institute.  A clear, current criminal record check is required, along with a valid driver's licence.
