QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) year supervisory or management experience with knowledge of staffing, scheduling, guest services, cash handling
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office
- Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and manage conflict
- Knowledge of the spa industry, products and services
- Experience with Salon/Spa reservation system is an asset
- Demonstrated commitment to health and wellness mindset
- Self directed, self motivated, reliable and responsible
DUTIES
- Promote TGHS and Sun Tree as a Leading Spa of Canada Spa and provide exceptional Five-Star customer service to all guests
- Responsible for adhering to all TGHS policies & procedures such as call-backs and Resort Suite (schedule) optimization
- Assist manager in implementing policies and procedures that improve operational efficiency, including cost savings and revenue management
- Monitor and inspect spa, mineral pool and caf on an on going basis during shift to ensure cleanliness and quality customer service is being achieved
- Monitor attendance of all spa, pool and caf staff ensuring that dress code is maintained
- Monitor inventory levels on an ongoing basis and receive orders
- Assist with monthly inventory counts for all professional and retail products, as well as operational supplies
- Organize group bookings for spa and pool
- Organize media activities
- Communicate and document with manager any inefficiencies and staff issues
- Ensure effective communication to subsequent shift(s)
- Conduct meetings with the staff as required
- Assist in managing staffing requirements, schedules and time tracking
- Other duties as assigned by manager
