Description

The Regina QuAppelle Health Region has opportunities for Child Psychiatrists in a fee-for-service practice. Successful candidates will have an interest in a diverse and consultative style of practice. Services are provided in the community, at Child & Youth Services and in the 10 bed dedicated adolescent unit and day hospital at the Regina General Hospital. The range of programs includes: cognitive disability screening, mental health/addiction services, suicide awareness, young offender services, rehabilitation of severely disturbed youth and the assessment, treatment and case management of emotional/developmental and behavioral disorders.

Call coverage allows for a balanced lifestyle as it is shared with all other Psychiatrists in the Department.

The Regina QuAppelle Health Region is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
