The purpose of the Human Resources Manager position is to oversee and ensure consistent employee/labour relations support that fosters positive associate relations to create an environment in which individuals can thrive and deliver high performance. This position works collaboratively with senior leaders to execute aligned local, divisional & corporate human resources programs and initiatives successfully within the Organization. Duties include but are not limited to: Providing guidance and recommendations for problem resolution, redirecting or escalating as appropriate; Partnering with key stakeholders to determine workforce needs based on profit planning and ensuring employment equity within the organization; Acting as a strategic business partner by providing quality advice, coaching and guidance to the Operating company President and Management team in all areas of Human Resources and employee relations; Overseeing and providing coaching to leadership team regarding reinforcing goals and/or any issues related to employee, productivity or behavior based on the established policy, practice or contract and supporting the process to ensure positive outcomes; Providing data/analytics to leaders relating to Human Resources and other related operational metrics to support business reporting, planning and management; Partnering with Talent Management to successfully implement employee development strategies; Partnering with Safety to support Syscos Vision Zero initiatives, including injury prevention and ability management as required; Coordinating effective communication and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, national initiatives, Sysco programs and mandatory training; and modeling organizational values and competencies and providing strategies to influence and develop culture.
