POSITION: Policy Analyst/ Researcher Womens Secretariat
The policy analyst/researcher will provide expert advice, information and assistance on strategic issues and initiatives and prepare comprehensive briefings, reports and presentations geared to the development and implementation of Violence Prevention strategies in First Nation schools and communities. The policy analyst/researcher position will be responsible for providing technical and analytical information in designated areas, including conducting research, for the Womens Secretariat; develop written documentation for briefings, updates, and forward planning; and provide advocacy in First Nation communities. Areas will include development of resource materials, legislation and policy. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent research, written and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirement is a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University in the field of social sciences, education, public policy or nursing/ public health.
