The ultimate goal for FH Canada staff is to honor God by empowering the most vulnerable. As an IMED team member our unique objective is to be a voice and advocate for the most vulnerable, as well as be the voice of Food for the Hungry (Canada) and its leadership.

In all its endeavours, FH Canada seeks to glorify God. Volunteers and all employees should fully support the objects of FH Canada, endorse the Christian commitment of the membership, and conduct themselves in a manner consistent with principles of Scripture.

Specifically the Administrator handles all data and inventory processing to send out container shipments that will meet the needs of the most vulnerable in the communities FH Canada and its partners serve.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Being an effective Team Member in a Christian environment
2. Inventory Management
3. Container Finalization
4. Volunteers and Donors
5. General Administrative Tasks
6. Advocate Food for the Hungry Brand.

SKILLS AND BEHAVIOUR REQUIRED:

Preferred minimum five years experience in the administrative and non-profit fields
Office Administration Training is an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint), the Internet, and general aptitude for database systems (previous experience with Netsuite is an asset)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in communicating with those of a different culture and/or experience in working in a developing country would be an asset
