eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented accounting professional with strong technical accounting skills to work as a member of our finance team. In this challenging position, you will work on a range of initiatives, some examples include: assessing the implications of new accounting standards; preparing financial statements; consultation with management on budget development and forecast, and developing financial management policies and procedures to improve internal controls and accountability.

You will have strategic orientation and superior analytic skills, to be able to anticipate and recognize financial accounting and management issues and their potential implications, conceptualize feasible alternatives, assess options and recommend appropriate solutions. In addition to having excellent oral and written communication skills, that can be adapted to difference audiences, you will be tactful, innovative and persuasive. You will also be confident and comfortable working independently or as a contributing member of a variety of teams and be capable of developing and monitoring work plans to successfully complete projects in an environment of changing priorities.

Typically, the knowledge and skills for this position would be gained through a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and/or Accounting supplemented by a CPA, or CFA designation and several years of experience in a similar role. You will bring a significant demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standard and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
