Lac La Ronge Indian Band Social Development Department is now inviting applications for the following full-time, permanent position based at Little Red River Reserve:

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT WORKER (LITTLE RED RIVER RESERVE)

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
>Develop, implement and maintain a social assistance program for clients;
>Provides counselling and advisory services to clients and;
>Refer clients to the necessary agencies as required based on the individual need;
>Maintain client files in a confidential and professional manner;
>Carry out intake of clients, B & D decision sheets, home visits, etc.
>Maintain positive public relations on behalf of the department.

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
>A Bachelor`s Degree in Social Work or Diploma of social work /counselling preferred with 02 years of experience;
>Previous experience in social assistance is required;
>Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
>Ability to deal with the public, excellent communications and organizational skills;
>Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required;
>Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
