Job Description: The Manager of Pharmacy Services is directly accountable to the Executive Director for the total procurement, distribution and control of all drugs and related items used in St. Joseph's Hospital, and various other agencies and facilities in a manner consistent with the policies, standards, legal requirements, philosophy and mission of St. Joseph's Hospital.
Required Qualifications

An advanced Degree in Pharmacy would be an asset
Baccalaureate in pharmacy and licensed or eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan Pharmacy Association
Experience
Experience preferable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with many individuals and groups including staff, students, unions and the general public
Demonstrated excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Familiar with job evaluation, staffing and compensation practices in a unionized work environment
Good knowledge of health & safety programs and legislation.  Incumbent will be required to keep current in developments in this area
Ability to manage change  to develop implement and monitor processes and operations
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, sound judgment and integrity
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite and related software, with the ability to learn all relevant purchasing programs
Ability to listen, counsel, and be present
Follow policies and procedures set out by the region without discrepancy to Vision and Values of the facility
Demonstrates a management style that is visionary, creative, collaborative and supportive of the mis
